It takes a community to inspire a child
A teacher can change a life. So can a librarian, a coach, a businessowner or a volunteer.
Children's University Australasia and Africa brings entire communitiestogether to help children discover new interests, build confidence and seepossibilities beyond their immediate circumstances. Led by Adelaide University, the program connects schools, families, libraries, businesses and communityorganisations to create learning experiences beyond the classroom.
Through its Passport to Learning, children aged 5-14 explore theirinterests through voluntary activities that encourage curiosity, creativity andambition. In 2025 alone, more than 5,640 South Australian children completedover 271,000 hours of learning across 58 communities.
By surrounding children with people who believe in their potential,Children's University is helping create stronger communities and bigger futuresfor the next generation.
